With a very disappointing loss Valerie Adams came in with the silver medal competing in the shot-put. Unfortunately she was defeated by Nadzeya Ostapchuk. Valerie’s personal best was 21.34 which didn’t match Nadzeya Ostapchuk’s winning shot of 21.36. Following the competition she had a personal interview which she was visibly upset and had an emotional evening. All though she came back with a silver medal all her family were proud of her achievements.

Valerie Adams A disappointing loss...Awhina & Aliza
With a very disappointing loss Valerie Adams came in with the silver medal competing in the shot-put. Unfortunately she was defeated by Nadzeya Ostapchuk.
